Who am I?
Some communities who helped shape me:
We are all reflections of our surroundings. I reflect my childhood synagogue, which taught me how to care for the earth and my local community. I reflect my work as a Jewish outdoor educator in how I pray. I reflect Hebrew Union College, which taught me how to be a spiritual leader.
Where am I now:
As of July 2025/5785, I started working at Temple Emanuel in Denver. I am working alongside an amazing team in a beautiful city. If you’re ever in the area, pop by! I would love to see you and introduce you to this city and congregation which I now call my home.
My musical journey:
I found my two main musical mediums in high school; percussion and voice. I have been training as a singer for over 15 years and picked up guitar along the way. I studied classical music in undergrad and have floated between classical and contemporary-style singing since then. I also started playing the darbuke and the hammered dulcimer during Covid. The hammered dulcimer, in particular, has embodied my American and Jewish roots in one beautiful instrument - an instrument I would love to share with you.
My joys in life:
I love making music, challah, and being outside as often as possible. I love seeing live art and tasting new (pescatarian) food. I love studying Jewish, and non-Jewish, texts. I love my family and I love my partner, Noa.
